Fundación INESAD is going to co-host the Latin American and Caribbean Economic Association (LACEA) Annual Meeting in 2015

The Executive Committee of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic Association (LACEA) announced that Fundación INESAD will organize, jointly with the Bolivian Economists Society (SEBOL) and the Private University of Santa Cruz de la Sierra (UPSA) the LACEA Twentieth Annual Meeting. This important event will be held in the City of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, in the second half of 2015.

The nineteenth version of this event was held in the city of São Paulo (Brazil) in November 2014. The event was attended by 10 economics keynote speakers renowned worldwide. In addition, there were 42 invited sessions and 125 research papers contributed sessions.

The Latin American and Caribbean Economic Association or Asociación de Economía de América Latina y el Caribe (LACEA) is an international association of economists with common research interests in Latin America. It was formed in 1992 to facilitate the exchange of ideas among economists and policymakers. LACEA is generously supported by grants from the Global Development Network and the World Bank’s Development Grant Facility. In addition, the annual meetings are supported by grants from The World Bank, The Inter-American Development Bank, The Development Bank of Latin America (CAF) and other organizations that can vary depending on the country and organizers of the Annual Meeting.
