INESAD in the Top Think Tanks in Central and South America list

According to the “2014 Global Go To Think Tank Index” report prepared by the University of Pennsylvania (USA), for the third consecutive year, Fundación INESAD is between the 6% of the most influential Think Tanks in Central and South America, being the most influential Think Tank Bolivia. Also, INESAD is between 1% best Think Tanks worldwide in the Top Environment Think Tanks list. The report was based on more than 6,000 think tanks in the world, almost 700 in Central and South America and 50 Think Tanks in Bolivia.

According to the report, a Think Tank is a research center which produces studies in various subjects are oriented analysis and advice on issues of national and international interest, which allow politicians and government officials to make informed decisions about public policy issues. The Think Tanks are bridges between academia, government and civil society, and in the service of general interest independently.

The criteria used by the University of Pennsylvania for the report includes the quality and reputation of the staff, the quality and reputation of research and analysis produced, the ability to attract and retain the intellectual elite, committed to produce independent research and analysis and the impact of research on the authorities and other political actors.
