David Bishai – Keynote Lecture at the Bolivian Conference on Economic Development

The organizing committee of the 7th Bolivian Conference on Economic Development is very pleased to announce that DAVID BISHAI, Professor at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, will be one of the keynote speakers at the event.

David holds an M.D. from the University of California at San Diego Medical School and a Ph.D. in Economics from the Wharton Business School. He works at the department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health at the University of Johns Hopkins, and he is also an associate editor of the prestigious journal Health Economics. Moreover, David is the President-Elect of the International Health Economics Association. His areas of interest are Health Economics, Population Economics, and Family Economics among others. Currently, David is conducting investigations about health economics in Qatar, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, India, China, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.

The 7th Bolivian Conference on Economic Development is jointly organized by the Society of Bolivian Economists (SEBOL), the Institute for Advanced Development Studies (INESAD), the Bolivian Academy of Economic Sciences (ABCE), and Universidad Privada Boliviana (UPB). The conference will take place the 8th and 9th of December 2016 in facilities of UPB in La Paz, Bolivia. For more information, click here.
