The Employment, Income and Production Network (EMINPRO), whit the Private Business Entities Federation of Cochabamba (FEPC) support, realized the Seminar: Abilities for the labor market, on October, 20th in Cochabamba City.
In this opportunity, the members of the network who promoted the initiative was INESAD, the Private Bolivian University (UPB) and the Economist Academy of Cochabamba (CEC).
The objective of the seminar was promote the discussion, in academics framework, about the role tray they play in the different kind of abilities – cognitive and non-cognitive- and the accumulation of this in the quality employment terms, income and productivity.
The welcome words of the academic event were in charge of Federico Diez de Medina, President of the FEPC, then Ricardo Nogales, Director of the Economic Department of the UPD expoused about education and labor market: the abilities role.
Beatriz Muriel H., Ph.D., Coordinator of the EMINPRO Network was done her dissertation with the title: More education makes better returns in the labor market in Bolivia? And explained haw the productive structures limit the exploitation of the educative abilities of the workers.
The discussion table, realized later, was moderated for Jorge Veizaga of the Economist College of Cochabamba. Then, Gabriela Olivares, Researcher of EMINPRO and, INESAD presented the EMINPRO Network and finally, made the closing words of the event.
