The event was on October 31st in the CIESS- Econométrica offices. In this opportunity, the members of the network that promoted this initiative were the Institute of Advanced Studies Development (INESAD) and the Bolivian Academy of Economic Science (ABCE).
The topics were:
- Which are the new researches about labor informality in Bolivia?
- How was evolved labor informality during the “boom”? and, What is Bolivia wait for the future?
- How are composed the wages and earnings of informal workers, in the equilibrium general vision?
The first presentation was in charge of the Rolando Morales, Ph.D., the full member of the ABCE and CIESS-Econométrica Director. The next expositions were realized by Rodrigo Gonzales and Erick Gómez, both of them students of the Economics career and researchers of the same institution.
Then, the experts and participants discussed their point of views about labor informality; taking into consideration the different dimensions of the informality, chiefly the positive and negative aspects in economics terms.
Finally, Ph. D. Beatriz Muriel, Senior Researcher of INESAD and Coordinator of the EMINPRO network, exposed the principally results of the panel discussion and made the event closing.
