On thuesday March 28th, was the second discussion group “Financial inclusion for work and life: Elderly Case“ in INESAD Foundation offices. The event was promoted for EMINPRO Network, and de Bolivian Academy of Economics Science (ABCE).
The expositors of the discussion groups were Guillermo Aponte, full academic of ABCE, and Pilar Contreras, Responsible for social protection of Help Age International. They showed the elderly situation in social protection and financial inclusion, in Bolivia and the countries of the region. Particularly, both of them highlighted the problem that elderly has for financial access.
The event continued whit an debate, where assistants discused the different point of views about the problem, and they were identifying the challenges that Bolivia Faces in the subject.
