Lykke E. Andersen holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Aarhus, Denmark. She has conducted research on environment and development in Latin America for more than 20 years as Executive Director of INESAD, Scientific Manager at Conservation International Bolivia, Chief Economist at the Bolivian Catholic University and as a consultant for the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, the Andean Development Bank, United Nations and various other development institutions. She is a prolific writer with more than 300 publications, including a dozen books and more than 20 papers in peer-reviewed journals. She is ranked among the top 5% of female economists in the World (REPEC, October 2017).
Carlos has a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Chile (Latin American Doctoral Degree), Masters in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and a degree in Economics from the Bolivian Catholic University. In the professional field, he worked as a macro-sector analyst for the Unit of Economic Policy Analysis (UDAPE). Luis Carlos holds a PH.D. in Development Economics and M.A. in Economic Policy and Planning from the Institute of Social Studies from the Rotterdam University, the Netherlands and a Commercial Engineer Degree from the University of Chile.
He has a wide experience in the development research and policy design. He was Finance Minister of Bolivia, Senior Economist of the Latin American Development Bank (CAF), Executive Director of UDAPE, Bolivian government think-tank for economic and social policy design, Executive Director of the National Institute of Statistics of Bolivia, and international consultant for CAF, IDB, World Bank, EU, ILO, ECLAC, UNDP in areas related to public management and sustainable development.View more

For more than 10 years he did research in development as Director of the Institute of Socio-Economic Research of the Bolivian Catholic University of La Paz (UCB), as Director of the Integral Group and as a consultant for the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Andean Development Corporation and several other national and international development institutions.
