Ambassador Internship: Labor Markets and General Equilibrium Models (Ref: AI-403)<\/h4>\n

Fundaci\u00f3n INESAD is the leading Think Tank development research institution in\u00a0Bolivia. Our mission is to generate, spread and transfer knowledge aimed at\u00a0overcoming critical obstacles to sustainable socio-economic development.\u00a0INESAD has teamed up with the Royal Danish Embassy in La Paz\u00a0to launch the Ambassador Internship program, which are highly\u00a0competitive and rewarding for young aspiring development professionals and\u00a0researchers, who wish to gain hands-on development research experience at INESAD\u00a0in Bolivia. Interns will collaborate with on-going research projects at INESAD or develop\u00a0their own Master or Ph.D. research along INESAD\u2019s priority research areas.<\/p>\n

The EMINPRO Network (Employment, Income and Production), under INESAD’s coordination, is doing a research that consists in developing a model that permits to evaluate the incidence of different labor regulation policies on informal employment. This model requires econometric as well as microeconomic skills.<\/p>\n

In this regard, INESAD is looking for an Intern interested in participating in this research. The Intern should have good knowledge on econometrics\/microeconomics as well as notions on general equilibrium models and labor economics.<\/p>\n

The Intern will work under the supervision of Dr. Beatriz Muriel H., Coordinator of EMINPRO-INESAD. She\/he will develop a working paper with Dr. Muriel.<\/p>\n
