The conference brought together local and international scholars for the exchange of ideas and discussion of recent results within theoretical and applied development economics research.<\/p>\n<p class=\"clsBodyText\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"left\">The Conference featured keynote speakers <a title=\"Meet Hans Rosling\" href=\"http:\/\/inesad.edu.bo\/developmentroast\/2013\/11\/meet-hans-rosling-keynote-speaker-at-the-next-bolivian-conference-on-development-economics\/\"><strong>Hans Rosling<\/strong><\/a> (GapMinder Foundation) and<strong><a title=\"Meet Tyler Cowen\" href=\"http:\/\/inesad.edu.bo\/dslm\/2014\/03\/conozcan-a-tyler-cowen-keynote-speaker-en-la-6ta-conferencia-boliviana-en-desarrollo-economico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Tyler Cowen<\/a><\/strong> (George Mason University). In addition,<strong> Enrique Garcia<\/strong> (CAF) and <strong>Augusto de la Torre<\/strong> (World Bank) participated as a special guest speakers.
