The objective of the project is to generate a dense network of exchange of ideas and training between universities in Europe and Latin America on the topic of territorial planning and management in rural areas. The goal is to ensure that the participating institutions can contribute effectively in the design and implementation of rural development policies in their respective countries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The kick-off meeting for the project took place from the 25th to the 28th of March at the University of Molise in Campobasso, Italy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8799 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inesad.edu.bo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.inesad.edu.bo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/1.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.inesad.edu.bo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.inesad.edu.bo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/1-768x513.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participants representing the six countries (Bolivia, Argentina, Paraguay, Italia, France and Spain) and the 11 institutions that form part of the Project were present. Representing Bolivia were Lykke Andersen and Boris Branisa from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inesad.edu.bo\/?lang=en\">INESAD<\/a>, Fernanda Wanderley and Jean-Paul Benavides from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iisec.ucb.edu.bo\/\">IISEC-UCB<\/a> and Oscar Bazoberry from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cides.edu.bo\/webcides2\/\">CIDES-UMSA<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8800 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inesad.edu.bo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/kkk.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.inesad.edu.bo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/kkk.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.inesad.edu.bo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/kkk-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.inesad.edu.bo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/kkk-768x513.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The kick-off meeting took place at the University of Molise (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unimol.it\/\">UNIMOL<\/a>), where participants presented and discussed the plans for implementing the many elements of the 3-year Project. The last day of the workshop was dedicated to field visits to various rural development initiatives around Campobasso, including a the Collemeluccio Pecolanciano protected area; the cheese production facility Caseificio Di Nucci; the distributed lodging hotel Castel del Giudice; and an organic fruit farm.
