Climate Change Impact Evaluation Course, Bolivia-Peru-Ecuador, January 2013During the month of January 2013 a Climate Change Impact Evaluation team from INESAD and UPB carried out three Climate Change Impact Evaluation courses for 86 government officials in La Paz, Lima and Quito. Here is a group photo from the cocktail party that was held at INESAD after finishing the course in La Paz:  After successfully completing the three-day course in La Paz, the Team moved on to Lima for phase two. Here is the Team enjoying a spectacular sunset on the beach:  We all fell in love with Montañita, but agreed to respect the local lemma "What happens in Montañita, stays in Montañita."  The last course took place in Quito and finished with a group photo, distribution of diplomas and a cocktail party:  The last evening we had dinner at a spectacularly located restaurant called Vista Hermosa. Before the plane left for Bolivia, we had time for a bit of sightseeing around Quito. Half the team went to the equator-museum "Mitad del mundo" while the rest took the Teleferico to the top of the Pichincha volcano. Unfortunately it was a cloudy day, so we couldn't enjoy the usually spectacular view over Quito. Instead we had fun in the photo both:   |
