During the month of January 2013 a Climate Change Impact Evaluation team from INESAD and UPB carried out three Climate Change Impact Evaluation courses for 86 government officials in La Paz, Lima and Quito.

On the way to Quito, we spend the weekend in the little Ecuadorian beach town Montañita. Here is the Team enjoying a spectacular sunset on the beach:
We all fell in love with Montañita, but agreed to respect the local lemma “What happens in Montañita, stays in Montañita.”

Before the plane left for Bolivia, we had time for a bit of sightseeing around Quito. Half the team went to the equator-museum “Mitad del mundo” while the rest took the Teleferico to the top of the Pichincha volcano. Unfortunately it was a cloudy day, so we couldn’t enjoy the usually spectacular view over Quito. Instead we had fun in the photo both:
