Taking advantage of the 5th annual visit of Antonio Romero, our main counterpart from the Canadian Think Tank Initiative, INESAD organized a joint dinner for our main donors on the 28th of May 2015 in La Paz.
Antonio Romero has personally observed INESAD evolve from a tiny, informal group of friends in 2010 into the highest ranked think tank in Bolivia in 2015. In contrast, this is the first time that Ole Thonke, Ambassador of the Royal Danish Embassy in Bolivia, got to meet the whole team at INESAD.

This last year has been exceptionally productive for INESAD. We launched one of the most complete climate change impact studies ever carried out for Bolivia or any other country in Latin America, and later this year we will be organizing the 20th annual conference of the Latin American and Caribbean Economics Assoiation.

We also launched the Ambassador Internship program, which is a great opportunity for development research students from anywhere in the World to get some hands-on experience in development research. Adriana Ballón is soon finishing her Ambassador Internship at INESAD having worked on the Environmental Policy Discourse in Bolivia for her Ph.D. thesis at the University of Freiburg in Germany.
