The Municipal Government of La Paz has a great initiative called “Cebras x 1 dia” where they invite institutions to join their efforts on urban education. After having been on the waiting list for almost a year, it was finally INESAD’s turn to participate. Here is the team preparing for the big day.

The day started with an urban education session, designed to increase awareness of the different elements of the city and stimulate sensitivity to the needs and problems of different types of inhabitants.

Each visiting zebra was assigned an street crossing and accompanied by two professional zebras.

Here is a group of zebras at work educating drivers (don’t stop in the middle of the zebra crossing!).
