The Institute for Advanced Development Studies (INESAD), Universidad Privada Boliviana (UPB), the Society of Bolivian Economists (SEBOL), and the Bolivian Academy of Economic Sciences (ABCE) jointly organized the 6th Bolivian Conference on Development Economics, which was held on August 28-29, 2014, at UPB’s Campus in Cochabamba, Bolivia. The conference brought together local and international scholars for the exchange of ideas and discussion of recent results within theoretical and applied development economics research.
The Conference featured keynote speakers Hans Rosling (GapMinder Foundation) and Tyler Cowen (George Mason University). In addition, Enrique Garcia (CAF) and Augusto de la Torre (World Bank) participated as a special guest speakers. A summary of the conference is available
