Agnes Medinaceli Baldivieso represents Bolivia as a “Young Global Changer” at G20 Think Tank Summit in Germany

On 29 and 30 May 2017, the world’s leading think tanks will gather in Berlin, Germany. At the G20 Think Tank Summit, they will discuss global solutions to the most pressing issues facing our planet. 100 bright young minds from 100 different countries will join this process as “Young Global Changers”. Among them: Agnes Medinaceli Baldivieso from Bolivia.


 Agnes Medinaceli Baldivieso works as a junior researcher at the Institute of Advanced Development Studies (INESAD) in Bolivia. She holds a Master in Latin American Development from King’s College London and a Bachelor in Economics from the University of St Andrews. Previously, she has worked as a research assistant for the European Parliament. Along with friends, Agnes has created “Casa Fuerte”, a digital platform that aims to empower and formalise domestic workers.




The Think 20 Summit GLOBAL SOLUTIONS, mandated by the German G20 Presidency, will bring young visionaries from around the globe to Berlin. The scholarship programme aims at people with a passion for change and a background in social volunteering, academia, technology, start-ups journalism or blogging. By offering these scholarships, the summit wants toinvolve the views and ideas of the next generation into global problem-solving. Scholarship recipients will take part in a number of high-level side events and become part of an exclusive network of like-minded professionals.

The scholarship programme is sponsored by several Enabling Partners: PwC; Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises; Berlin Partner; Google; Volkswagen, Konrad Adenauer Foundation, WeQ Foundation and Allianz Stiftungsforum.
