Hélène Ménard is a French student doing her Msc in Global Development at the University of Copenhagen. She obtained her Bachelor degree in Economics and Management from the University of Strasbourg in September 2015.
She organized in February-March 2017, as part of her studies, a fieldwork in Tanzania about price volatility and adaptive strategies of rice and maize market vendors with 5 international students from various backgrounds.
She will work together with the INESAD three months and assist research for the Green Accounting project resulting in the creation of a database, and do quantitative analysis for the Global Health project.
She is very interested in global issues, such as inequalities, migrations, sustainable development, and development strategies (entrepreneurship, microcredits). She will learn a lot from her experience in La Paz and the ambassador internship programme with the INESAD will enable her to develop new skills and gather more practical experience that will be highly appreciated in her professionnal career.
