10th ERW presented “An Experimental Game on Entrepreneurship and Labour Protection Policy”

The Economics Researcher Workshop – ERW organized by INESAD Foundation, Bolivian Private University (UPB), Bolivian Economist Society (SEBOL) and Bolivian Academy of Economics Science (ABCE), has the presence, as an principal expositor, Beatriz Muriel, Senior Researcher of INESAD and EMINPRO Network coordinator, who presented the working paper “An Experimental Game on Entrepreneurship and Labour Protection Policy”.

The working paper develops a game on experimental economics. The game study the person´s preferences about work and the labor protection policies vs. the labor flexibility in uncertainty scenarios, like lottery decisions.

The empirics results show that 79,3% of the participants, prefers a flexible labor policy when workers abilities don´t know yet, some participants abstain from starting business –reducing job creation- and prefer to be workers.
